When I look for a stock for something I want to create (actually I have 5 or 6 pending photomanipulation projects, but I never find the time to work at them, and I also need some specific stocks that I couldn't find anywhere - so that I'm thinking about shooting them myself but... well, it needs me time, too) or when I simply browse into stock-artist's galleries, I'm always very curios to see what other people do with that (and that's also the cause why I took so many time to make a manip: I loose a great part of it browsing stock-images' comments and opening every single link to photomanipulations made with that XD). I really love to see how one person imagination can make so different things starting from the same identical image.
So, after some time I discovered photomanipulations world, I've look through my folders and found out that, hey! I had different things that could go well for stock! So I create this account: ~drilli-stock when I collected what I had. From that moment on, everytime I go somewhere, I always take a look around to see if there's something I can shoot for other people to use as stock (or I just put on my stock account pictures that didn't came out so good and I don't want to public on the main account). Why I did it? Of course, because I'm curious to see what other people will see in those picture, and what they can create with that! Then, also because, having made some photomanipulations myself, I know how could be difficult sometimes to find stock resembling what we have in mind, and so: the more good stock pictures (hoping that mine are good enough!) there are on DeviantArt, the more artist I can help, and it's always so beautiful to me being useful to people!
So... if you're a photomanipulator or just an artist looking for stock references... what are you waiting for? Take a look at my stock account and then tell me if I've been helpful!
